Sip & Stream 📺 🍷 - The Scorpion & The Frog from The Fabelist Old Vine Zinfandel 206 x Ted Lasso Final Episode
Ted Lasso forever has my streaming heart. It’s literally one of the sweetest series I’ve ever seen and although this season was quite bumpy, it really pulled through in the final three episodes which were in my opinion near perfection. While everyone seemed to have a happy ending (okay probably not Rupert), the finale left it wide open for there to be a return, even if it’s in the form of a spinoff — Women’s Soccer Anyone?
The Fableist: Scorpion and the Frog Old Vine Zinfandel - Paso Robles. 🍷
I should’ve paired Ted Lasso with something as sweet as the series, but I decided to go more in the direction of Roy Kent and try a wine that was a little more gritty. You’ll get the smoke on the nose upfront and then it relaxes with big cherry aromas, cloves, coriander and some dark chocolate. You’ll first get juicy blackberries on the palate then a taste of cranberries and rhubarb, followed by a nice licorice finish.
Happy Streaming! 📺 🍷
