All is right in the world when Bad Sisters is back streaming. This series was so good the first time around; I almost didn’t want to see them kill it (pun intended) with a second season, but like that “just one more and then I’m done” piece of Halloween candy staring at you from the handout jar, it’s okay to have another.
There’s more on the horizon than just a quad of murdering sisters, Max has its first series from the Dune universe, Paramount+ is premiering the Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore fronted Landman, and Peacock has a duo of remakes in Twisters and Day of the Jackal.

Making waves at film festivals in 2023, Widow Clicquot is now streaming on Netflix. The movie stars Haley Bennett as Barbe Nicole, the woman behind the Veuve Clicquot champagne family and business that started in the late 18th century.
Interesting Facts about Veuve Clicquot:
Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin was the actual “Veuve Clicquot,” widowed at the age of 27, just seven years after marrying the company’s heir, François. Madame Clicquot was known for being strong-willed and innovative through her years at the house’s helm. Veuve Clicquot translates to Widow Clicquot.
Veuve Clicquot was the first to make a vintage champagne. After five years of bad vintages, war, and near-failure, Madame Clicquot celebrated the success of 1810 with the first single-vintage Champagne. The concept became a huge success the following year, when the iconic 1811 vintage Champagne was labeled ‘The Year of the Comet.’
Veuve Clicquot was one of the first producers of rosé champagne. Ruinart had already produced a rosé Champagne by tinting Champagne with elderberry juice, but Veuve Clicquot was the first to produce rosé Champagne by adding still red wine to its sparkling. First made in 1818, Veuve Clicquot Rosé is now made by adding Pinot Noir to the classic Yellow Label.
