Kim Cattrall Returns In Cameo Role as Samantha For Season Two of ‘And Just Like That…’
And just like that…HBO heads swooned Kim Cattrall into making a brief return to the franchise in a small cameo appearance. While no details of where or when or with who her character will appear in the series, it’s confirmed that she has indeed filmed a small scene and was outfitted by none other than SATC’s OG costume designer Patricia Field who returned to the SATC series just to curate Kim Cattrall’s wardrobe for this one scene. This marks the second surprising return after it was revealed that Aidan, Carrie’s former flame that she didn’t really deserve, is coming back into her life at some point this season. All the feels!
Padma Lakshmi To Leave ‘Top Chef’ After 17 Years
It’s been a long run for the host and executive producer of Top Chef. Padma Lakshmi is bidding her farewell to the Emmy-winning competition series that has been on Bravo for 20 seasons. She announced on her Instagram this week that the June 8 finale of Season 20 will be her last episode. She said, “After 17 years, many of the cast and crew are like family to me and I will miss working alongside them dearly. I feel it’s time to move on and need to make space for Taste the Nation, my books and other creative pursuits.”
‘Breaking Bad’, ‘Cheers’ and 1,000 Other TV Props Being Sold At Auction
Television writer James Comisar is holding an auction of his Comisar Collection, over 1,000 props he accumulated from working on TV studio lots. He has an impressive collection from the 1950s to present day. Fans will find props and costumes from the 1966 series Batman, also Baywatch, All in the Family, and Cheers. Notable items include — Pamela Anderson’s red bathing suit from Baywatch, the actual bar used in Cheers, the set of The Johnny Carson Show, the Batman and Robin costumes. The Heritage Auction House of Dallas, the largest collectible auction house in America, will be facilitating the sale of these pieces. Cruel Intentions Series At Amazon Prime Announces Lead Cast
The adaptation of the 1999 cult film Cruel Intentions has its main cast. Sarah Catherine Hook (First Kill), Zac Burgess (Totally Completely Fine), and Myra Molloy (He’s All That) will play the leads. The series will be set in Washington D.C. from writers Phoebe Fisher (Euphoria) and Sara Goodman (OG Gossip Girl). The story itself is based on Les Liaisons Dangereuses, the original French novel that was made into a film with Michelle Pfeiffer, Glenn Close and John Malkovich— Dangerous Liaisons.
‘Outlander’ and 'The Crown’s’ Tobias Menzies Joins Brad Pitt in Apple’s Formula One Movie
Tobias Menzies, best known for his roles on Outlander and as Prince Philip in Netflix’s The Crown will star alongside Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon, and Damson Idris in the upcoming Formula One film from Apple TV. The movie will be produced and directed by the team who did Top Gun: Maverick and promises just as many thrills. It hasn’t been disclosed as of yet who Menzies will play, but we can all agree, he’s great in the classic villain role.
Bonus Frights 🐝 : It’s been just announced that Yellowjackets will air a bonus episode ahead of Season 3 that will bridge the storylines between Season 2 and Season 3. Stay tuned for more deets!
