The Weekend Binge: Time To Clock Into 'The Agency', All Aboard For Max's Yacht Rock Dockumentary, New Beatles Doc, Lindsay Lohan's Holiday Secret, and a Sip & Stream Featuring Iconic Families
It's the weekend, let's binge!
Farewell November!
It’s been a month of holiday streaming and overeating. The streaming platforms are exerting the last bit of their November sweeps steam to carry the momentum into December. Looking forward to a new month of streaming?
This final weekend has a bit of nostalgia streaming — a Yacht Rock documentary, a special commemorating the 60th anniversary of the beloved Disney musical Mary Poppins, and a documentary on the Barrymore family. I’m also excited to stream the new series The Agency starring Michael Fassbender and Jeffrey Wright, directed by Joe Wright (Darkest Hour).

Sip & Stream: The True Story of the Barrymores x 2021 Robert Mondavi The Estates Sauvignon Blanc
Two iconic families — The Barrymores and The Mondavis are headlining my weekend sip & stream.
First up, the documentary The True Story of the Barrymores is streaming new this weekend on Prime Video (you can also watch the full movie at the link above). It chronicles the lives of three generations of actors from the birth of cinema to the modern age of television and social networking. The documentary also brings up a cursed generation and legacy of self-sabotage that is saved by a 7-year-old girl named Drew Barrymore.
This light wine to pair with any holiday meal has beautiful aromas of ripe citrus, white peaches, and fresh grass. On the palate, you’ll taste grapefruit, passion fruit, and mango. Great to pair with spicy foods, goat cheese, and seafood. Available online at Robert Mondavi winery.
Happy Streaming!
