It's the weekend, let's binge!

Oh hello, weekend! 👋

Is it end of summer yet? I’m so ready for pumpkin spice lattes and sweater weather. It’s the final days to watch the best of August streaming. What did everyone love this month? I mean, it’s hard to beat the last leg of the Olympics, but the month isn’t over yet. I think a lot of streamers made like Vanessa Williams and saved their best for last.

I’m rewatching Tim Burton’s now classic film (a classic from 1996!) ahead of the sequel film Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice premiering September 6 at theaters. Beetlejuice is a dark and quirky comedy starring Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara who all star in the new film. Stream Time: 1 hour, 32 minutes. Watch it on Max

Fun Facts About Beetlejuice

• Michael Keaton is said to have improv’d 90% of his lines, but only appears in 14 minutes of the film

• Beetlejuice was the first DVD sent out by Netflix in 1998

• Although the film is set in Connecticut, it was actually filmed in the small town of East Corinth, Vermont

Banshee Pinot Noir, Sonoma 2021

This is one of my go-to wines I pick up on a casual Monday from the grocery store. You can find it at Target, Whole Foods and even Trader Joe’s. It comes from Sonoma where Pinot is king and is part of the Foley family’s portfolio of wines. I love the juicy aromas and tasting notes of red cherries and bright raspberries. It’s well-balanced, ready-to-drink on any day of the week and reasonably priced. $16.99.
