The Weekend Binge: New Indiana Jones, Julia Roberts on Netflix, Cary Grant Series, Docs on John Lennon and Michael Jackson, Eddie Murphy’s New Xmas Movie, A Cab For The Holidays 🍷
It's the weekend, let's binge!
Oooh, it’s chilly outside, but the weather inside for streaming is delightful. Grab a cozy blanket, a glass of wine, where’s the remote? - oh there it is! and let’s get to binging!
If you are still catching up from last week’s deluxe December Binge Calendar, I’ve added some of those must-watch film and shows to this weekend’s binge list. Some gems include Indiana Jones & The Dial of Destiny, May December, and the new season of Slow Horses.
It’s that time of year to start the countdown to Christmas. If you’re celebrating Hanukkah — Happy Hanukkah to you, you’re in the midst of celebration.
There are so many holiday movies and specials streaming that it’s nearly impossible to catch up, but I’m going to start the season with Hannah Waddingham: Home For The Holidays special on Apple TV+ which I’ve already streamed and loved. It’s a bite-size (less than an hour) dose of Christmas with festive songs, decorations, and pretty much everyone from Ted Lasso making an appearance. I found this great cab that I’m loving through wine.com. Perfect for warming up your spirit. Keep scrolling for the details!

Sip & Stream: 2019 Michael Mondavi Emblem Cabernet Sauvignon x Hannah Waddingham: Home For The Holidays
Wow! From the apocalyptic-looking nun on Game of Thrones to Ted Lasso HBIC, Hannah Waddingham is having more of a glow up than cauliflower these days. Her new holiday special on Apple TV+ is an adorable variety show with all your favorite Christmas songs, guests appearances by Ted Lasso alum, and those costume changes that rival Queen Diana Ross. It takes less than an hour to stream and is perfect background TV for when you have friends and family over for the holidays.
This James Suckling 90-point cabernet is the perfect accompaniment to Hannah’s holiday special…because life is a cabernet, after all! And also because I love the notes of plum, blackberry, and anise. From the first drop on your palate, it comes at you with classic flavors of cassis, huckleberry, plum, coffee bean and toasty oak. A great wine and perfect with a bite of peppermint cookie bark. You can find it here at wine.com - p.s. it makes the perfect holiday gift!
Happy Streaming! 📺 🍷
