It’s quality, not quantity.
This weekend, there’s not a lot of razzle-dazzle streaming, but there are a few showstoppers I’d like to check out. Even though I’m a fan of Ryan Murphy’s series, after just ten minutes of Doctor Odyssey last night, I was like, nope not gonna finish. Unless Charo 💃🏼 has boarded, then this boat has sunk before it even started sailing.

Today, the world of stage, film, and television saw the passing of a legend. Dame Maggie Smith, an award-winning actress best known for her iconic performances in Harry Potter and Downton Abbey - she had a fan base that has spanned generations.
It’s almost sacrilegious for me to admit that one of my favorite movies that Maggie Smith starred in was the classic 1981 movie Clash of the Titans. At one point in my childhood I remember this airing every freakin’ weekend morning. A frosted flake double feature after Land of the Lost.
Dame Maggie Smith played Thetis in an ensemble cast of ancient Greek mythology characters. The special effects were laughable, but in the eighties they were AMAZING! Who could forget Medusa’s head full of snakes 🐍.
